Our client is a French MNC, leading player in power conversion business, positioned as a system integrator and specialized in customized solutions to convert electrical energy into mechanical energy. For this client, Talent Fishers is looking for a Sourcing IPO China Senior Buyer to accompany the growth of the Business Activity in China.

Job description

The Sourcing IPO China Senior Buyer will be in charge of:

• Developing sourcing capabilities in accordance with the group sourcing strategy and policy
• Committing and achieving IPO objectives in terms of sourcing activities, quality, delivery and costs
• Benchmarking, identifying, sourcing and selecting suppliers based on a list of criteria agreed on between the IPO and the client units
• Auditing the suppliers
• Negotiating contracts, terms, conditions and organizing the follow-up
• Creating and developing the relationship with local suppliers
• Dashboard reporting
• Supporting units in placing orders and liaising for their clarification, execution, trouble shooting with suppliers
• Following up of the purchase orders

Job requirements

• Bachelor in Engineering
• At least 5 years sourcing and supply chain experience in China
• Significant experience in Chinese industrial environment in a foreign company, ideally exposure to an IPO settlement (equipment with limited series)
• Solid negotiation skills
• Ability to tackle challenging projects which require a combination of business, organization and technical issues in order to provide maximum value to supply needs
• Native level in Chinese, Fluent in English, French is a plus

The International Purchasing Office Manager will be in charge of:

• Setting up the sourcing team according to the IPO project strategy
• Developing appropriate sourcing strategies and the sourcing organization for China market
• Over viewing all sourcing activities in compliance with the Corporate strategy and policy
• Committing and achieving IPO objectives with the client required quality and deliveries standards
• IPO structure in accordance with the SLA template and the IPO process flow
• Creating the supplier panel, building and developing the relationship with local suppliers
• Defining and implementing the Supply Chain
• Dashboard reporting

Job requirements

• Bachelor in Engineering
• 3 to 5 years sourcing and supply chain management experience in China

Job description

The Production & Process Manager will be in charge of:

•    Oversee the production process, draw up production schedule and ensure that the production is cost effective
•    Work out the human and material resources needed
•    Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed
•    Control product standards and implement quality-control programs
•    Work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals
•    Assess processes for their relevance, and assess the adequacy of engineering equipment
•    Design, install and commission new production units, monitor modifications and upgrades, and troubleshoot existing processes
•    Prepare reports, flow diagrams and charts
•    Manage the cost and time constraints of projects
•    Support the conversion of small-scale processes into commercially viable large-scale operations
•    Ensure the process works at the optimum level, to the right rate and quality of output, in order to meet supply needs

Job requirements

•    Bachelor/Master with a technical Major
